How does per-person pricing work?+
Your first person is $79 a month and each person after is $49. A solo practitioner pays $79, a team of five pays $275 and a team of twenty pays $1,010. Every person gets every feature.
Who counts as a person?+
Anyone on your team with their own Clerra login. Clients never count: invite as many as you like to your Client Center, free. When someone leaves and you deactivate them, they stop counting.
Is there a cheaper plan with fewer features?+
No. There's one plan and it includes everything: the deadline engine, recurring work, your branded Client Center, e-signatures, proposals, time and invoicing, the vault, automations, reports and backups. Nothing is held back for a higher tier.
Are there any usage fees or add-ons?+
No. There are no charges per signature, per document, per text or per gigabyte, and no setup fee. Storage is unlimited under a simple fair-use policy. Your bill is your team size, nothing else.
Monthly or yearly?+
Your choice, with no contract either way. Pay monthly and cancel anytime, or pay yearly and get a month free (you pay for 11 months). A yearly plan is paid up front and runs to the end of the year you paid for.
Will my price go up?+
Not for 24 months. Your price — $79 for your first person and $49 for each after — is locked for two years from the day you subscribe, and anyone you add later is added at that same locked price. After that, we'd give you at least 60 days' notice before any change.
We hire for tax season. How does that work?+
Add people when you need them and remove them when the season ends. Changes are prorated to the day, so you only pay for the time someone is on your team.
What happens after the 14-day trial?+
You choose to subscribe, or you don't — there's no credit card required to start, and nothing is charged automatically. If your trial lapses, your data stays safe and read-locked until you subscribe.
We're a larger or multi-office firm. Is Clerra for us?+
Yes. The price is the same at every size and every firm gets the same features, including offices, roles and permissions, per-firm data isolation and a full activity log. We'll help you plan the move and bring your client list across.
Can we cancel?+
Any time, from the billing page, no phone call required. Your data remains exportable and is never held hostage.
Does Clerra replace our tax or accounting software?+
No, deliberately. Clerra is the practice-management layer that runs around QuickBooks, Xero, TaxCycle, ProFile or CCH — clients, deadlines, work and documents. Your filing tools stay exactly as they are.
